Thunder Over The Rock Airshow Returns to Little Rock

Thunder Over the Rock is returning to the Little Rock area this fall!

Save the dates October 21-22, at the Jacksonville Air Force Base for a spectacular air show like no other. It has been five years since the last show and this year will be one of the biggest featuring the U.S. Thunderbirds flying their F-16 aircraft in formation with precision acrobatic maneuvers at high speeds.

This two-day FREE event will highlight some of the top aerial entertainment in the country including the U.S. Air Force Academy Wings of Blue parachute team, and the U.S. Army Golden Knights.

A C-130 demonstration will also be showcased along with the high-speed Aftersock Jet Truck that continues to thrill audiences worldwide.

Fans will enjoy seeing vintage World War II and current military aircraft on display.

In 2018, over 200,000 people attended the two-day event Thunder Over the Rock, making it one of the biggest air shows in the state, according to KARK-TV.

Gates are open 8 AM-5 PM on both days.
