Jaw-Dropping North Little Rock Airshow is Back This Fall
I love a great airshow and there's a good one coming this fall in Arkansas. Did you know that it's been 6 years since the last airshow occurred at the North Little Rock Municipal Airport?
After a six-year hiatus, the North Little Rock Airshow will return to North Little Rock Municipal Airport at 8200 Remount Road on Saturday, October 22, 2022.
It's going to be worth the drive from Texarkana to see this incredible North Little Rock Airshow that will feature some intense mind-blowing aerial demonstrations by nationally recognized aerial acts.
Aerial Acrobats
If you love lots of aerial formations and acrobatics these maneuvers will blow your mind.
Jet Fueled Truck
BOOM! Better get out the way because this baby flies, well almost.
Parachute Team
There's something majestic about watching a parachute team at an airshow.
Military Aircraft
There will be plenty of vintage aircraft and warcraft for viewing.
Scale Model Aircraft Demonstrations
These smaller scaled-down versions look like the real thing.
The North Little Rock Airshow will also have a kid’s zone that will include bounce houses and STEM projects and activities with the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub and other local agencies.
This has been the pride of the North Little Rock community and they are proud to be bringing it back.
“We’re excited to bring it back for families with some new additions like pre-purchasing tickets online and a more robust kids’ area,” said Clay Rogers, Director of the North Little Rock Municipal Airport.
If there is anything I've learned from attending an airshow is that you better get there early, bring sunscreen, and wear your sunglasses.
A complete schedule of events and ticket information will be available soon at NLR Airshow.com and on the North Little Rock Air Show Facebook page.
The airport is currently still seeking sponsorships, volunteers, and community involvement for the Airshow; interested parties can email airshownlr@gmail.com for more information.
