It's been over a year since ground broke on the donuts of my dreams, Shipley Do-nuts, and it looks like we're getting close. Look there, in the window, it's a "Now Hiring" sign! I grew up in Houston where Shipley began, and I love 'em! I can only hope they live up to my memories.
Comic book legend and Superhero creator Stan Lee passed away today, November 12, 2018, a sad day in the comic book and superhero movie world for sure. Several years ago my wife and I were at a Comic Convention in Dallas or San Antonio or somewhere... and I dang near accidentally took him out myself.
