The annual Veterans Day Parade is happening this Saturday, November 14, in downtown Texarkana.

The parade is conducted by the Texarkana Area Veterans Council and will begin at 11AM Saturday at East Broad and Hazel Streets. The parade will follow the normal downtown parade route.

All area organizations, clubs, schools, churches and businesses are invited to participate. The public is invited and encouraged to show support for our area veterans and enjoy a very patriotic parade.

Come wave your American flag and be a part of something special. The theme for this year's Veterans Day Parade is "God and Country".

To be included in the parade call 870-773-8279 or 870-773-1078.
