Don’t Miss The Veterans Day Parade Saturday Morning Downtown

The actual Veterans Day is Monday, November 11, but the Veterans Day Parade is this Saturday, November 9 in downtown Texarkana.

The salute to the Veterans of our area begins at 11 AM Saturday morning at the corner of Hazel and Broad on the Arkansas side.

You will see Church groups, Scouts, Youth organizations, Clubs, marching bands but mainly, you will see Texarkana area Veterans.

Veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the first Gulf War, Iraq, Afganistan and more. Come out and wave your American flags and show them your love, thanks and appreciation.

The theme for the parade this year is "American Legion - 100 Years."
