This past year with the COVID-19 pandemic there has been a lot of things we had to put on hold, but now with everything starting to open back up, it's time to start taking care of business. If you haven't updated your vehicle registration or updated your driver's license it is time to get that done and soon! The last thing you want is a ticket.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department is reminding everyone that the temporary waivers in the state of Texas on registering your vehicle and renewing your driver's license will end on April 14.
If you remember, Governor Abbott put those in place because of the pandemic, but those waivers will be expiring next month.

The TTPD posted on their Facebook page:

If you need to take care of either one or both, now is the time to get them done. In many cases, you will likely be able to renew them online. However, your particular circumstances may require that you do it in person. Please don't wait until the last minute only to find out that you can't do it online and wind up missing the deadline.
So in other words the TTPD is saying 'Get'er DONE!' Don't wait until the last minute because you then will more than likely experience long lines and wait times and who really wants that!
