Master Gardeners

The City of Texarkana, Texas partnered up with the Master Gardeners of Bowie and Miller county and hosted a tree planting project this past Wednesday, March 2. Students from Maud, Liberty-Eylau, Pleasant Grove and Texarkana, Arkansas ISDs all participated in planting 600 trees into pots. They will be used as part of a stream restoration project as well as a future Arbor Day tree give-away. Read Mo

Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the Bowie County Master Gardeners will present a program titled “Growing Cool Season Crops and How to Have Your Own Hoop House” on Monday, November 11th. The event will take place from 6PM until 8PM in University Center room 326. The class is free and open to the public and reservations are not required.

The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in University Center Room 326. The class is free and open to the public and reservations are not required.

The Miller County Master Gardeners, in conjunction with the Bowie County Master Gardeners, are pleased to once again be participating with the Four- States Fair and Rodeo to oversee the Horticulture Exhibits in the Fine Arts Building.

Texas A&M-Texarkana and the Bowie County Master Gardeners will present the program “Totally Tomatoes” on Monday, April 9. The class is scheduled from 6PM-8PM and will take place in Room 306 of the Science and Technology Building on the TAMUT campus. The class is free and open to the public.
