Texas A&M-Texarkana and the Bowie County Master Gardeners will present the program “Totally Tomatoes” on Monday, April 9. The class is scheduled from 6PM-8PM and will take place in Room 306 of the Science and Technology Building on the TAMUT campus. The class is free and open to the public.

According to a press release, the class is being taught by Master Gardener Andrea Thomas. The discussion will feature information on selecting growing areas, soil preparation, diseases, fertilization and tomato varieties. Attendees will also have the chance to ask tomato- related questions during the event.

Ms. Thomas is a 10 year Bowie County Master Gardener with specialist certificates in multiple areas. She is also a lifetime member of Miller County Master Gardeners and has a Level 2 Advanced Certificate.
