Time is running out and soon the deadline to apply for the seventh annual Arkansas Grown School Garden of the Year Contest will be here. The deadline is September 13. The Arkansas Grown School Garden Program was created to showcase Arkansas schools that have developed gardens to support innovative and hands-on learning.

Texas A&M University-Texarkana and The Bowie County Master Gardeners will present a program on “Pruning Tips and Techniques” on Monday, October 14, 2019. The event will take place from 6pm until 8pm in University Center room 326. The class is free and open to the public and reservations are not required.
