Our area is under a National Weather Service Wind Advisory tonight from 7 pm this evening to 7 am CDT. Winds will be out of the South at 20 to 30 mph, gusting up to 40 mph.

This advisory includes portions of north-central and northwest Louisiana,
south-central and southwest Arkansas and east and northeast
Texas.

The advisory is from 7 PM this evening until 7 AM CDT Wednesday.

Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create hazardous conditions for small craft. High-profile vehicles should drive with caution on area highways as well.

Tonight: Cloudy with a 60% chance of showers and thunderstorms, low around 61. South winds 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.

Wednesday: Cloudy with a 100% chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, some could produce heavy rainfall. Rain chances will diminish in the afternoon. High Wednesday near 75. South wind early 15 to 20 mph, then shifting from the west in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
