Did you know that high schools in our area compete for scholarship money from LifeShare Blood Center by holding blood drives? With schools closed the highschools that in the past have hosted blood drives now need to rely on the community to find another place to host the drives.

The Wake Village 'Social Distancing Parade' that was supposed to take place Thursday, evening (April 23) has been postponed.

Wake Village Elementary Scholl and Wake Village City Officials have announced they will host a Social Distancing Parade this Thursday, April 23 from 6PM - 7:45PM.

May is just around the corner, we all know that graduation season should be near, unfortunately with the COVID-19 plans have to be postponed.  The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is trying its best to make sure that this year's graduates will have an official graduation ceremony to go to and walk across the stage to receive their diplomas.

COVID-19 has changed a lot of things in our world and it will continue to change things. This summer the Kids' College 2020 will be a little different too as it will go for a virtual experience instead.

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana James Black School of Bladesmithing and Historic Trades is proud to announce that one of their bladesmithing instructors has won a big competition.
