Sample Texas Wines At The First Avinger Wine Festival

In a little more than an hour's drive away you could be sipping a glass of wine and listening to local musicians while sampling artisan foods. Where is such a place located?

The Salmon Historic Home will host the Avinger Wine Festival from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21. The historic home is located on 460 S. Main St (Hwy 49), Avinger, Texas. Call (903) 562-2256 for more information.

The festival is free, however entrance to the wine garden in $5. The proceeds go toward the “In The Arts” Scholarship program for students.
