Well, at a 11 p.m. (central time) July 10, Viacom pulled 26 channels from the DirecTV line up... or DirecTV dropped the channels... it really depends on who you ask.  Check out each side of the story in these videos.

Either way, some of the Viacom channels that have been removed are Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, MTV, BET, VH1, CMT, Logo, Spike, TV Land, MTV2, VH1 Classic, Palladia, Nick Jr., NickToons and TeenNick.

DirecTV has their side of the story.  They say they are fighting for their customers, and that Viacom is a big bully trying to squeeze money from the consumers. Check out this video from DirecTVpromise.com...

Viacom takes the angle that DirecTV is just dropping the channels.  They are taking a humorous approach with video on their website whendirecttvdrops.com, but some of the personalities on the effected channels have some videos out supporting Viacom...
