UPDATE: Amber Alert Canceled After Abducted East Texas Boy Found Safe

The Tyler Texas Police Department reports that 4-year-old Lucas Calvert has been recovered safe in Monroe Louisiana, and police have arrested his father, 41-year-old James Calvert, who is suspected of killing his ex-wife and fleeing with the child.

Tyler Police issued the Amber Alert for Lucas Calvert after James Calvert shot and killed his ex-wife Jelena Radovanavic Sriraman, and fled with 4-year-old Lucas.

Those close to the victim reported that the couple had recently been through a custody battle, and James Calvert lost.
