An Amber Alert was issued this morning for a three-year-old little girl from the Dallas area. The Texarkana Texas Police Department shared the alert on their Facebook page just in case they come through the Texarkana area.

UPDATE  - The child has been found and is safe An  AMBER ALERT came out this morning out of Henderson, TX (just south of Longview) for two-year-old Ariel Smith. She is 2-1 and weighs 39 pounds. She has black braided hair and has a two-inch scar on the right side of her neck. She was last seen last night at 10:25 wearing a white tee shirt.

The Texas Amber Alert for 14-year-old Lilianais Victoria Cake Griffith and 7-year-old Luluvioletta Mariposo Bandera-Magret has been canceled. However, both girls remain missing.

Please call the police if you see anyone from the picture who may be heading to Louisiana.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) joined the country in observing National AMBER Alert Awareness Day today.

The Tyler Texas Police Department reports that 4-year-old Lucas Calvert has been recovered safe in Monroe Louisiana, and police have arrested his father, 41-year-old James Calvert, who is suspected of killing his ex-wife and fleeing with the child.

An Amber Alert has been issued by the police as they pursue 41-year-old James Calvert, a man suspected of killing his ex-wife and taking his 4-year-old son, Lucas, from his mother's house in Tyler, Texas.
