UA Hope-Texarkana’s Popular Community Fish & Chicken Fry April 13
Who's ready for some delicious fried fish and chicken? You are in luck because the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana is getting ready for its 30th Annual UAHT Community Fish and Chicken Fry.
There will be delicious fried catfish and Tyson chicken all cooked to perfection by the Hope Lions Club. There will also be live music and activities for kids so bring the whole family.
You can come and enjoy all the fun or if you are limited on time they will also have a drive-thru.
It all takes place on Thursday, April 13 from 4:30 PM to 7 PM on the Hempstead Hall lawn at the Hope campus.
Anna Powell, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement said in a press release;
This year marks 30 years of our community generously supporting the college by providing funding and scholarships for students who may not otherwise be able to afford a college education. Please join us again this year to enjoy food, fun, and fellowship as we support creating a better future for our students and community.
-In-person - donations will be accepted at the beginning of the serving line
-Drive-thru - dinners are $15 per plate
All proceeds benefit the UAHT Foundation.
The drive-thru line for carry-out meals will be formed by the Rapert Library entrance, accessed through the main campus entrance by the electronic sign. Carry-out trays will not include a drink.
You can buy tickets at the front desk on the Hope campus or purchase on the day of the event.
