Texas DPS Troopers Capture 3 More of The ’10 Most Wanted,’ 1 in East Texas
The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to have a very productive 2023 so far as they have recently reported capturing three more of their Top 10 Fugitives and Sex Offenders. One was even captured right here in East Texas. There are still a few old faces you may remember from previous posts, but there are some new faces to observe, let's see if you have spotted any of them.
Congratulations are in order for the recent run of captures regarding the most wanted fugitives by the Texas DPS. And here they are:
Eduardo Castrillo
Eduardo Castrillo was captured on March 28, 2023, in Midland, Texas. DPS Special Agents, along with the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, working off investigative information, located and arrested Castrillo. In February 2018, Castrillo was convicted of Deadly Conduct-Discharge of a Firearm and subsequently sentenced to three years confinement in TDCJ prison. In September 2020, he was convicted of Driving While Intoxicated (3rd or more) and sentenced to another three years of confinement. Castrillo had been wanted since October 18, 2021, after the Socorro Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest for Sexual Assault. Additionally, on January 24, 2023, the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office issued warrants for his arrest for four counts of Sexual Assault. Castrillo's arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers.
Erick Martinez
Erick Martinez was captured on April 4, 2023, after being taken into custody by U.S. Border Patrol in Lukeville, Arizona. Martinez was convicted in 2011 of 17 counts of Sexual Assault of a Child, 17 counts of Indecency with a Child by Contact, two counts of Sexual Assault, one count of Indecency with a Child by Exposure, and one count of Evading Arrest with a Vehicle. The convictions stemmed from incidents involving a 16-year-old girl, a 20-year-old woman, and another victim (age unknown). Martinez was given 37 five-year sentences and one 6-month sentence. In June 2020, he was arrested by the Dallas Police Department for four counts of Sexual Assault of a Child and one count of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender’s Registration Requirements. He subsequently bonded out. Martinez had been wanted since September 9, 2021, after the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for his arrest for four counts of Sexual Assault of a Child and two counts of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. Martinez’s arrest was not from tip information received through Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
Derwin Bernard Arline
Derwin Arline was captured on March 30, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. DPS Special Agents, U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force, and Smith County Sheriff’s Office, located and arrested Arline using investigative information. Arline had been wanted since June 6, 2022, after the Panola County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Additionally, on February 27, 2023, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for Arline's arrest for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact. Arline's arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.

Jaime Rubalcada
Wanted For: Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault by Impeding Breath/Circulation, Assault of a Family/Household Member, Unlawful Restraint, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Mischief
Reward: Up to $5000
Wanted For: Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of Cocaine, Distribution of Cocaine, DWI
Reward: Up to $3000
Antonio Martinez Gonzalez
Wanted For: Assault by Impeding Breath/Circulation, Parole Violation (Original Offense: Possession of a Controlled Substance)
Reward: Up to $7500
Margaret Lorrain Smith
Wanted For: Capital Murder
Reward: Up to $7500
Brandon Wayne Hogan
Wanted For: Flight/Escape
Reward: Up to $5000
