Over the weekend I saw the news on Facebook that a much loved and super cool member of our area had passed away.  If you ever met Trey the Turkey then you know what I'm talking about.

Trey was always ready to greet customers at Three Chicks Feed, Seed and Cafe at 4045 Genoa Road in Texarkana Arkansas. He was also known to start gobbling when someone honked their car horn. The first time I saw Trey I was totally fascinated by him. He was so majestic and regal with his big display of beautiful feathers. My husband took a picture of me with Trey then we saw some friends and stopped for a quick chat. As I was talking with my friend she said: "Gee, I think someone has a crush on you!" I looked down and there was Trey standing right next to me. I petted him and of course, I told him how beautiful he was.

After visiting with our friends, my husband and I walked over to the cafe for a bite to eat. We were sitting there for a few minutes when all of a sudden my husband pointed to the doorway and said "Look who is coming for a visit."  I looked up and there was Trey trying to come into the dining area. We took a quick photo before he was escorted out of the area.
