Texarkana Tx & Ar City Facilities – Closures & Restrictions
Here is a list of city facilities in Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas that are closed or have restrictions to the public. This list also includes park sports complexes, hospitals and more.
As of today March 18:
- Wadley Hospital has implemented a visitor restriction of 1 visitor per patient until further notice.
- Texas DMV Texarkana Office will serve drive-thru only until March 27th.
- Bowie County jail has suspended all visitation until further notice.
- New Boston City Hall is closed to all visitors. Please call and make an appointment.
- Texarkana Public Library is closed to the public until further notice. The drive-thru will remain open
- All Social Security Administration offices are closed to the public until further notice.
- Beginning March 17th, the lobby at the T-Line Transit Center at 1402 Texas Blvd. will have limited hours from 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. until further notice.
- Grady T. Wallace Softball Complex closed and play suspended until March 30th, 2020
- Grady T. Wallace Soccer Complex closed and play suspended until March 30th, 2020
- William Karrh Park – FASA Softball closed and play suspended until March 30th, 2020
- Spring Lake Park; Swanger Complex- Texarkana Texas Dixie Baseball closed and play suspended until March 30th, 2020
- Spring Lake Park; Monte Field closed and play suspended until March 30th, 2020
- Collins Senior Center will be closed beginning Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 until further notice. Seniors Citizen Services will offer hot packaged meal pick up for seniors 60 and over from the parking lot at Collins Senior Center, 3000 Texas Boulevard from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020 until further notice.
- Southwest Center will be closed beginning Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 until further notice.
- No in-person payments will be accepted at City of Texarkana, Texas Offices beginning Wednesday, March 18th, 2020 until further notice.
- Perot Theatre bookings suspended until the end of March.
- Miller County Clerks Office will be locked to protect staff. They will assist visitors individually with only 2 visitors at a time. Giving them time to disinfect the office between visits.
- Texarkana Museums System -Closing all properties until at least March 27. During this time, individual appointments may be made at the discretion of the staff,
