Texarkana Texas Police Department is Hiring Officers

Have you always wanted to be a police officer or know someone who has? The Texarkana, Texas Police Department is looking for a few good men and women to join the force.    

If you are interested you will need to take a Civil Service Test. The Civil Service test is a written test that will be held on Saturday, December 14 at 8AM. You will need to complete your application online by December 6.

If you are already certified and have worked as a police officer somewhere before, you may qualify for lateral entry placement for up to five years of your previous service. We are also offering a $3,000 signing bonus to certified Texas peace officers.
