We see on TV and in films all about the FBI and how prestigious it is. Now a big congratulations in order for one of our own, as he has completed the FBI National Academy. The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department announced on their Facebook page that Captain Bobby Jordan has graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

The FBI National Academy is an 11-week course where members of law enforcement can advance their credentials and learn more about law, behavioral science, forensic science, the terrorist mindset, communication and more.

According to the TAPD's Facebook post, Captain Jordan began the process to attend back in 2017. He is only one of two people selected from the state of Arkansas.

The Graduating 280th Session of FBI National Academy

Even more impressive the post goes on to say;

The graduating 280th session consisted of one hundred twenty-eight law enforcement officers, men, and women from 41 states and the District of Columbia. The class also included law enforcement agencies from 3 countries, five military organizations, and seven federal civilian organizations.

It is not easy to get into the program as the participants usually on average have at least 21 years of law enforcement and also most likely have reached an executive level where they work. Needless to say, we are very proud and honored to have Captain Jordan serving here in the Texarkana area. Congratulations!
