The Texarkana Texas Police Department arrested Wesley Logan, 56, of Texarkana Texas for  Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child after he turned himself in late Tuesday night.  The alleged abuse began when the victim was 12 years old and continued on a regular basis for several years.  Logan is a pastor at a church in Texarkana, Arkansas.

According to a press release, the victim, who is now an adult, reported the sexual abuse to police in early November.  Through the course of her investigation, Detective Tabitha Smith developed probable cause that the abuse occurred and obtained a warrant for Logan.  Since the allegations came to light earlier this month, Smith received information that leads her to believe there are other young women who have been similarly victimized by Logan.

Logan is currently being held in the Bi-State Jail with a bond of $100,000.  The judge also set bond conditions that Logan must maintain once he is released.  He is to be under house arrest, have no contact with the victim, no new arrests, wear an ankle monitor, and report weekly to authorities.

Anyone with information about this case or who have themselves been the victim of sexual abuse by Logan is asked to contact the Texarkana Texas Police Department at (903) 798-3116.
