Texarkana Listed in Top Ten Ghetto Towns of Texas?

Seriously? Texarkana is one of the ten most "ghetto" towns in Texas? Wait a minute.

I'm seeing some people share this article on Facebook. According to the website Road Snacks it's true. But, wait this article was written back in 2015 and it also states:

This article is an opinion based on facts and is meant as info-tainment. Don’t freak out.

So maybe it's not really as bad as it first sounds.

The criteria they looked at was based on:

Household income levels
High school graduation rates
Number of convenience stores
Number of drug stores
Number of discount stores
Crime

The other towns on the top ten are:

5. Big Spring

4. Corsicana

3. Mercedes

1. Balch Springs

If this is true. What can we do to help our town? But most of all, like the article said...Don't freak out.
