University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana

Kudos to these four Genoa High School graduates. Each of these girls has been awarded scholarships to the University of Arkansas at Hope Texarkana. Congratulations to Lindsey McDowell, Emily Shetzer and Macie and Madison Sims. I think it's a pretty good guess on my part that Macie and Madison are twins.

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana just announced two more students that have been awarded the Honors Scholarships. A big congratulations to Conner Markham and Seth Welch.

Congratulations to the latest recipients of scholarships to The University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana. These include graduates of Arkansas High School, Genoa Central High, Blevins High School, Fouke High School and Redwater High School.

The University of Arkansas Texarkana will offer basic welding this fall on the Texarkana campus via the college’s mobile welding classroom. The three credit hour course will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1PM to 3:30PM. The course is limited to ten students.

An art piece was dedicated to the University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana today in commemoration of the college’s 50 year anniversary.  The sculpture, entitled “Education: The Window to a Better World,” was produced by regional award winning artist and Hope, Arkansas, native Judy Wright Walter, now a resident of Texarkana, Arkansas.
