Back on Tuesday, July 28, the mayors of both sides of town issued a friendly challenge between the two sides of Texarkana.  Mayor, Bob Bruggeman and Texarkana, Arkansas Mayor, Allen Brown's challenge was to see which side of Texarkana would get the highest percentage of participation in the 2020 Census in a month. The Texarkana Texas Police continues to investigate a shooting that occurred on Tuesday evening and is looking for a suspect. A warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon has been issued for Dominique Dejohn Robertson, 25, of Texarkana, Texas. The victim was treated at a local hospital and released later that night.
