Summer Camp Sign-Up Time For Texarkana Tx Parks and Rec.

Registration is now open for the Texarkana Parks And Recreation "Summer Camp" for kids.

Texarkana, Texas Parks, and Recreation host several Summer Camps each year. The kids get to go on field trips and do fun activities based out of the Southwest Center. When you pick your child up in the afternoon, they will have had a fun time and should be tired from all of the play time. That's the theory anyway.

Splash Pad in Spring Lake Park
Movie Theater
Scavenger Hunts at Area Parks
Tour Fire Station
Bowling
Guest Speakers
Play Sports

Summer Camp is 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday and will be divided into two parts from June 17 to 28, then again from July 8 through the 19.

Kids ages 6 to 14 are eligible.

Sign up starts today at the Southwest Center office, 3222 W 7th St, Texarkana, Texas. Only the first 25 kids will be accepted. The fee for the camp is $150 and covers all of the expenses for the trips as well as breakfast and lunch.
