A 'bomb cyclone' will bring critical fire danger over much of Texas. Out of state fire crews have been sent to Texas as hurricane-force winds could occur.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott activated state resources trying to get out ahead of the severe weather and flash flooding that is impacting the State now and will be over the next few days. Severe storms will be crossing our State most of the week and with them could come very large hail, damaging winds, flash flooding, river flooding, and the potential for tornados.
It's that time of year again where we can enjoy some sunshine and warmer temperatures. It's also that time of year where we can see some really bad weather, so this is a good time to refresh ourselves on what the most important severe weather terms mean.
