Flooding

Looks like a group was going around rescuing folks stranded in their homes due to the Texas floods and someone left their dog behind in the house.

In Texarkana, we were lucky that Tropical Storm Barry went to the east of us but our neighbors in surrounding counties have not been as fortunate especially in towns like Nashville, Blevins, Prescott and Dierks Arkansas. I've seen some of our listeners posting photos on Facebook. It's important to remind ourselves to be cautious and to not take chances in flash flood areas.

With all the rain recently and more on the way, we've seen some areas in and around town where the water has gotten pretty high. It's important to remember a few things if you find yourself driving in these conditions.
