Aw, this is a great story! A group of high school students on a field trip came across a homeless man stuck in thick mud for three days near the Rio Grande River in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The man is recovering at a local hospital, but a happy ending? Maybe not!

MSNBC reported that last Saturday, students from La Cueva High School and their biology teacher heard a man yelling for in a muddy, really muddy area in the Oxbow Open Space Preserve. Authorities responded and freed the man using a pulley system.

But the happy ending comes with a catch! This guy is wanted on a felony warrant and will arrested as soon as he recuperates. Looks like his future is still muddy!
