Sparks in The Park 2019 is Back On!!

It's back by popular demand! Sparks in The Parks 2019 is back on! Thanks to Texarkana A and P Commission and Cooper Tire. So mark your calendar for Saturday, June 29 for "Sparks In The Park" at the Four States Fair Grounds! 

Here are a few things to know now and more details are coming soon!

1. The event is free and so is the parking!   There will be fun games for the kids. Just look our Townsquare Media tents and that's where you'll find the fun. Live music on the outdoor stage by Heather Linn and the Deacons!

2. It takes place on June 29, 2019. Why not the July 4th?  First, we want to have a rainout day in case of bad weather. This also allows our police department to have a large number of officers at the event to help with parking and traffic. On July 4th, the police have to keep their attention on events all throughout town because of the people "celebrating" the holiday and shooting fireworks in the city limits which by the way is a big No No!

3. No animals at the event. We can not stress this enough. You do not want your sweet pets to be scared of the loud fireworks! Leave your furbabies at home but make sure they are inside during our show and of course on the 4th as well. Young children and babies need to be protected too. Please make sure they have ear plugs or ear muffs to protect their ears from the loud fireworks. We want this to be a fun experience for them!

4. Listen to The Eagle during the fireworks and hear Patriotic music. We will play music synced to the fireworks show (as best we can!). So be sure to listen to us on the radio or on our app during the show!
