Smoke and Haze Cover Texarkana Area [PHOTOS]

At about noon today (8/15), smoke and haze covered the city, and even a bit of ash fell in parts of town. A lady asked me "What's that smoke from?". I said, "a fire." Here are a few photos from the source.

All of the smoke, and in some cases ash, was from a controlled burn north east of town. They were burning off fields north of I-30 near the Flying J Truckstop.
