Pecan Point Gastropub And Brewery Makes The Texas Bucket List tv show.

The Texas Bucket List is a TV show that has been on the air for 14 seasons and they recently filmed an episode featuring one of Texarkana's local restaurants, Pecan Point Gastropub and Brewery for their bite of the week feature.

The episode goes into a little history of the restaurant as well as the unique location in Texarkana being so close to Texas and Arkansas. Bill Scurlock is interviewed about his passion for brewing beer and his desire to be able to share that with folks in his hometown.

The episode highlights the unique Jambalaya that is served at Pecan Point. From the fresh tomatoes, onions, and peppers, to the great alligator sausage and the blackened catfish. Samantha Tompkins is the head chef and her take on this traditional cajun dish is what makes Pecan Point Gastropub and Brewery so special.

If Jambalaya is not your thing the duck fat fries are one of their specialties. Pecan Point Gastropub and Brewery is open Tuesday through Friday 5 until 9 pm. Friday and Saturday 11 am until 10 pm. Pecan Point Gastropub and Brewery is located at 213 Main Street next to the historic Perot Theater in Texarkana.
