It's no secret Texarkana loves Mexican food! And with being said, There's a brand new restaurant that just opened in Nash, El Parian, in the former location of Fiesta House on New Boston Road.

It's been a long time coming but El Parian Mexican Food is now open and ready to serve the Texarkana area. The restaurant has had a complete makeover inside with an expanded dining area, and an all-new color scheme with bright yellow and blue interior that gives it a festive experience while you dine.

There are new light fixtures, handcrafted decor, and flooring that brighten up the place. The moment you walk in the doors you will see a huge painting of a Dia de Los Muertes painting that symbolizes Mexican culture.

"It took a while for us to open up our business because we have been waiting on all the interior decorations and light fixtures to come in from Mexico, said, Carlos Lopez the manager of El Parian."

Make no mistake, Carlos is excited to finally be open and invites everyone in the community to come out and try some great food.

I went there for dinner last night and had Huevos Rancheros with rice, beans, and yes, fresh-made flour tortillas, that they make right there.

Oh, you have to try their Razorback enchiladas, three shrimp and crab enchiladas covered in a cheese sauce and served with rice and beans.

If you love authentic Mexican food you will enjoy all that El Parian offers on its huge menu like all your favorites including fajitas, enchiladas, burritos, street tacos, quesadillas, nachos, grilled shrimp, and even a variety of tasty steak dishes and combination dinners.

They even have several vegetarian dishes to choose from as well, soups and salads, and made-from-scratch guacamole are also available.

Of course, top off your meal with some delightful desserts like fried ice cream, sopapillas, cheesecake chimichanga, and more.
