Who Is the Best Team in the Western Conference? — Sports Survey of the Day

While things are pretty much set in the Eastern Conference, the West is a totally different story when it comes to the best team. 

In the East there is a clear number one: the Miami Heat. They are a full 10 games ahead of the second-place New York Knicks. However, in the West there just six games separate the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs and fourth-place Los Angeles Clippers.

Right behind the Spurs by a half a game are the Oklahoma City Thunder, who just beat San Antonio, 100-88, on Thursday night. In the third spot are the Denver Nuggets, just four games back. It should be quite a home stretch over the next two weeks as we get closer and closer to the playoffs.
