Deputy United States Marshals from the Texarkana, Ark., Office were assisting the Miller County Sheriff’s Office in the apprehension of DaRoyce Rodgers. Rodgers was wanted in Miller County Arkansas for Escape 1st degree and two counts of Battery in the 2nd degree.

The US Marshals received information that Rodgers was in the Dallas area. The Texarkana US Marshals Office requested assistance from the US Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force. On Sept. 25, 2015, the North Texas Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Rodgers inside a residence in the east Dallas area.

Rodgers escaped from custody at trial on March 31, 2015.  He eluded officers on that date and has been a fugitive since.  Rodgers is in custody pending extradition to Arkansas.
