If you are into crafting, a hobbyist or you trying desperately to find crafts and activities for the kids, then you probably heard that the Michaels craft store here in Texarkana was closed temporarily last week.

Bowie county officials deemed the store a 'non-essential' business last Monday evening (April 6) and ordered them to close.

But now it looks like there is a chance for them to reopen and give curbside service only. Which by the way would be wonderful! Think of all the people staying at home with their bored kids. A craft store is a necessity! Parents and crafters need these supplies especially for kids' projects to keep them busy. Plus, we need the materials at the store to make face masks.

Let's keep our fingers crossed they can open soon with curbside service.
