Bad news, Rolling Stones fans: Keith Richards says he won't be joining Mick Jagger when the famed frontman hosts and performs on Saturday Night Live's season finale this weekend. The guitar great says "I spoke to Mick and he said it's something that he said yes to many months ago, so he's just doing it. He's on his own."

Richards does admit, however, that he "probably" will watch the show, which will mark Jagger's first time hosting the NBC sketch comedy extravaganza.

Don't despair, however. there's some very good news regarding this Saturday's SNL. While Richards may be skipping the program, legendary blues-rock guitarist Jeff Beck has revealed that he'll be accompanying Jagger on the show. And, as previously reported, Jagger also will be joined on stage by Foo Fighters and Arcade Fire.

Tune in to Saturday Night Live at 11:30 p.m. ET to catch all the excitement.
