I-30 Entrance Ramp to Be Closed

Interstate 30 Eastbound Ramp near Hooks Texas is to temporarily close as of Wednesday August 1.The Texas Department of Transportation says the eastbound entrance ramp to I-30 at Spur 86 will be closed while the ramp is reconstructed. Motorists will detour down U.S. Highway 82 to the new entrance ramp off Spur 594.

The westbound entrance ramp at Spur 86 will remain open at this time. TXDOT is asking drivers to use extra caution in the construction zones while motorists become familiar with the new traffic pattern.

Work on the new entrance ramp could take up to two months to complete.
