House Fire Claims Mother, Son in Hospital: Here’s How You Can Help
Last Friday a house fire, unfortunately, took the life of a Texarkana, Arkansas woman and left her 3-year-old son in critical condition.
According to KTBS:
"There's heavy damage in the kitchen area, and the dining room area. The rest of the house is mainly smoke damage," said Jim Wall, Texarkana, Arkansas Fire Marshal.
Wall says one of the residents, Todd Works, was spraying the house with a water hose
Work's fiancé, Rosalie Graves, 39, and the couple's 3-year old son, Donald "Cam" Works were both trapped inside by the heavy fire and smoke.
Rosalie Graves and their son Cam were found in the bathroom but Graves was pronounced dead at the scene. Their son is being treated at Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
Now the family needs some serious help. There are funeral and hospital expenses and they lost their house and everything in it as well.
