Hope Watermelon Festival Kicks Off August 9

August is almost here and so is the Hope Watermelon Festival and we all know that the best tasting watermelons come from Hope, Arkansas.

It all takes place Thursday, August 9 through Saturday, August 11. Activities this year include live music, a talent show Thursday and Friday nights, a 5 k race Saturday morning, a dog show, a car show, arts and crafts and more.

Get ready for the Urban Cowboy Reunion Tour staring Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee will headline the Friday night concert in the park. Saturday night concert will mark the return of gospel music with the Gospel Fest! Pro Wrestling will return this year as well on Saturday from 4:30PM - 6:30PM.

Festival Hours are:

Thursday - 12PM - 7PM

Friday - 10:30AM - 9:30PM

Saturday - 9AM - 7PM
