Do you love to sing? Do you have what it takes to be the next Watermelon Idol? Here's your chance to win the title and then open for Uncle Kracker at the Hope Watermelon Festival.  

It's the annual Watermelon Idol Singing Competition and it's big. This is the premiere singing contest in the Ark-La-Tex region  The Watermelon Idol competition will be held live at the Hope Fair Park on the Cricket Wireless Stage in Hope,  Arkansas.

Just think if you win the title of the 2022 Watermelon Idol you will be opening up for Uncle Kracker when he takes the stage as the headliner of the Hope Watermelon Festival Concert Saturday night August 13.

When is the Competition for Watermelon Idol?

The Watermelon Idol contest will take place just hours before the main concert on Saturday, August 13. The competition will be from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Three place winners will win:

3rd place - $50 and Trophy

2nd place - $150 and Trophy

1st place - $300, Trophy, & will open for Uncle Kracker

The Watermelon Idol Competition is hosted by the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Enrollment Management Office.
