Harvest Regional Food Bank in Texarkana has canceled its annual corn picking event this weekend because of wild hogs

Here is the official statement from Camille Wrinkle the director of Harvest Texarkana:

Good morning, all. Please note the corn harvesting event scheduled for July 5th, 6th, and 7th, has been canceled due to the crop being destroyed by wild hogs. While I am disappointed, I am grateful to the farm for their generosity and for their offer to replant the crop again next year.
