Bowie County Emergency Operations Center reported on Tuesday five new cases  of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) for a total of 32. The count includes two additional Bowie County Jail employees who have also tested positive. (37 inmates are in quarantine. Miller County is currently reporting 15 positive cases. Cass County has one new case for a total of five positive cases.  

According to Texarkana Gazette, The Bowie County cases are evenly split between men and women. One patient is age 20-29, eight age 30-39, seven age 40-49, seven age 50-59, four age 60-69n and five age 70-79.

Cass County asks individuals who have tested positive, or their healthcare providers, to report positive cases to the Emergency Management Coordinator at 903-796-7973.

Drive-up testing for the coronavirus will be available 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the former De Queen Medical Center, 1306 W. Collin Raye Drive in De Queen, Arkansas.

Cass CountyA free COVID-19 drive-thru clinic will be hosted by UAMS and held Thursday, April 9th, 2020 at Trinity Baptist Church at 3115 Trinity Blvd. Texarkana, AR 71854 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
