Fatal Accident on I-30 in Bowie County

One man is dead after a collision between an 18-wheeler and a mini-van this afternoon on I-30 outside of Texarkana.

The accident occurred just after 3 p.m. in the East bound lane of I-30 at the 207 mile marker between New Boston and Hooks. It is believed that the 18-wheeler may have been trying to exit the highway at the time. The driver of the mini-van has been declared deceased.
