Are you and your family or someone you know in need of food? In this time of need, Central Arkansas Development Council is here to help you get access to food and other assistance for Arkansas residence only .

Central Arkansas Development Council (CADC) will have an Emergency Food Box Drive-Up tomorrow, May 27, 10 a.m. 2 p.m. at Miller County Four States Fairgrounds located at 3700 E. 50 Street Texarkana, Arkansas.

The food box will include over 50 pounds of food including meat, vegetables and other items such as toilet paper and other toiletries. A photo I.D. is required. Upon arrival, recipients are to remain in their vehicles and wait for curbside, no contact delivery. Items will be loaded into the trunk of the vehicle, so please make sure you have room available.

This is a first come first serve opportunity.  Donors include Regions Bank, Sysco, United Healthcare, Big Red Stores, Riverside Box Supply, Tyson Foods, Inc, Everett, and of course, CADC.

This came about with the need as a result of COVID-19. Our agency serves 19 counties, including: Miller, Lafayette, Little River, Hempstead County, Howard County, Nevada County, Hope, Arkansas Coliseum. Our mission is to help alleviate the conditions of poverty. We help and serve those in need. Want people to know that we're here to help.

The agency is located at 4415 Jefferson Ave. Suite B. CADC assists with utility bills and other needs.
