How You Can Support Local Nonprofits on East Texas Giving Day
Across the country, there are more than 750 community foundations that are bringing together the financial resources of generous individuals, families, and businesses to support effective local nonprofits and help make their communities better places to live.
Here in East Texas, we are lucky enough to have the East Texas Communities Foundation (ETCF), which supports philanthropy by offering simple ways for donors to achieve their charitable goals and make a positive impact.
One of the simplest ways ETCF allows donors to support their communities is through the annual East Texas Giving Day initiative, an 18-hour online giving challenge that raises critical funding for area nonprofits.
What makes East Texas Giving Day so special is that it brings the region together on one day as one community, giving them an easy platform to raise money and awareness for local nonprofits that need their support.
Any individual with a credit card, debit card, or checking account and access to the internet can donate on East Texas Giving Day, which kicks off Tuesday, April 25 at 6:00 a.m. and runs till midnight, Central Standard Time.
Ready to help make East Texas a stronger community for all?
Although East Texas Giving Day doesn't officially start until April 25, early giving is now open for everyone! The minimum donation amount is as little as $10 and can help support numerous charities. Make your donation today by visiting EastTexasGivingDay.org.
