Drive Sober of Get Pulled Over, that is the public media campaign by law enforecement in the state of Arkansas during the Christmas and New Year's Holidays this year.Texarkana Arkansas Police are joining law enforcement agencies across the state to provide additional protection for drivers and travelers this year. Now through the New Year's Holiday agencies will conduct saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints to identify and arrest impaired drivers.

Sgt. Sam McJunkins, who is the Police Department's Selective Traffice Enforcement Coordinator, says if your celebration includes drinking alcohol, please celebrate responsibly.


His advice is don't take a chance because chances are you'll be caught. The choice is yours, designate a driver or one will be appointed for you, straight to jail.
