Do You Check Your Work Email on the Weekend? [POLL]

Email. It's one of the easiest forms of communication. What did we do before it? It's a way of life, especially at work. A new study shows that we seem to be addicted to our work email. What? Well, that's just got to stop.

According to PR Newswire a recent survey by GFI Software™ found that checking our work email during personal time is alive and well:

• 74 percent of those surveyed regularly checking their work email at weekends
• And 54 percent admit to checking work email while on vacation
• One quarter (25 percent) feel compelled to reply to work emails within 15 minutes of receipt of an email

The survey also found that 39 percent of us check our email after 11 p.m. and 4 percent have checked their email while they or their spouse were in labor having a baby!

Okay, I have to admit that I'll check my work email on the weekends . . .  sometimes. I mean, I really, really, really have got to be bored!
