Congratulations To Five New Eagle Scouts With Troop 3
I have been an Assistant Leader/Committee person in BSA Troop 3 for about six years now and I know how proud I was in 2017 when my son earned his Eagle Scout rank, so I also know exactly how proud five more families are today.
Troop 3 had five Scouts before last night's Eagle Board and all of them passed with flying colors. Congratulations to (pictured above L to R):
- Joseph DuPree
- Mathew Desjarlais
- John Henry Thomas
- Marshall Sullivan
- Matthew Meinzer
Congratulations also to the parents of these boys, because nobody makes it to Eagle without support from home.
Thanks very much to the Caddo Area Council Eagle Board volunteers who make sure these boys are ready to take on the role of Eagle Scout and represent Scouting to the world for the rest of their lives.
This is a great group of young men and we are very proud of them. I hope they will carry their accomplishment throughout their lives with pride, not only in what it took to get there but also promoting Scouting as still the best way to teach young people to be leaders in life, their community, and country. I hope they will always practice the principles of Servant Leadership and Cheerful Service.
Way to go Troop 3!
