In light of a presumptive Donald Trump win in the 2016 United States Presidential election, it is very clear many Americans — celebrities included — are planning to make good on their word to move to Canada.

In the months leading up to last night's (November 8) contest, those who pled allegiance to Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party swore that if the GOP's Trump took office, they'd head north in protest — celebrities like Lena Dunham and Cher stood among them. And last night, as Trump's victory came into focus, interest in immigration northward became so real, Canada's immigration and citizenship site crashed, according to Fortune

It crashed. 

And Hollywood might have played at least some small role in the server overload. Celebs like Canada native Nina Dobrev and Real Housewives star Brandi Glanville continued to entertain the idea of a relocation, while others like Lin-Manuel Miranda cautioned against acting in fear.
